Subject: A couple of augment spells questions (Endurance)

Three discussions came up on my last tournament which really didn't have much impact on the game however they got me thinking which would be the ruling....
This is regarding endurance, but with the new FAQ I can see the same could occur for the divination spell that gives you an invul sv.
So... first one: A sorcerer casts endurance, he rolls double 1 so the spell is indeed successful but still get the wound from perils, does he get to roll his recently acquires FnP on the peril's wound or does he take the wound without FnP?
The second one is actually a 2 part question one general and the other specific. If casting endurance on a unit with a IC attached, if the IC leaves the unit does he leaves with FnP as well? having both the unit and the IC being affected by the spell? (this could be the same question for any augment spell). And secondly which is what actually happened on my game, my sorc had endurance casted on him and was on a challenge while his unit got stomped. He however won the challenge against a sergeant and got daemonhood... does the DP get to keep the FnP? The codex says he loses his wargear and special rules so I would think it does... however the FnP being a "buff" given by an external source... dunno maybe he gets to keep it until his next turn that endurance fades away.

1. You would not get FNP. erils happens before you resolve the power, so by the time you have FNP, you already suffered Perils.
2. Answered in the IC special rule (Independent Character and Ongoing Effects).
3. Not sure. HIWPI he gets to keep it.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Well there is no actual order written on the Perils rule, it only states that in double one the psyker still uses his powers. Don't get me wrong I was against this but couldn't prove it to my opponent that he could't get the FnP so he rolled and avoided the wound. I didn't fight it more since i had enfeeble casted on the sorcerer and S6 to instakill him.
On the IC you are right it's covered in the rulebook, this however happened when my juggernaut also changed to a DP (which costed me the game, thanks a lot boon table) within a spawn unit with endurance, the DP isn't a IC but I guess he could pass with it.

Read the order for manifesting powers.
1. Expend a Warp Charge
2. Declare Target
3. Take Psychic Test (this is where Perils occurs)
4. Deny the Witch
5. Resolve the Psychic Power (this is where you get FNP).

but what if the perils kills the psyker? by the time you get to step 5 there is no psyker on the board to manifest the power from, another lovely GW paradox?

Nope, the psyker dies, the power still manifests, there just might not be a model to benefit.
