Building a list for the local tournament scene which I'm told is mostly Tau, IG & Chaos Space Marine. I've been collecting for years but I've never played in a tournament before. Here's what I've been practicing with ...

Troops
Bike Squad (9 Models)
• 2 Plasmaguns, Attack Bike with Multi-Melta

Elites
Terminator Assault Squad (5 Models)
• Thunder Hammers & Storm Shields
Allied HQ – Blood Angels
Librarian
• Forcesword & Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack
Allied Troops – Blood Angels
Assault Squad (10 Models)
• Hand Flamer & Bolt Pistol on Sergeant, 2 Metaguns
Allied Heavy Support – Blood Angels
Storm Raven (Edited, thx Mizzri)
• TL Lascannon & Typhoon Missile Launcher
I'd love some feedback but I'm not expanding my collection significantly until the new book comes out so I'm limited to the models above and the list below. Thanks!

Looks pretty good.
I'm not a huge fan of DSing/walking assault terminators, but they should do OK.
I think you are a little light on anti-tank fire.

A little light on anti tanka nd anti air but that bike squad and blood angel JP squad is going to make a real mess of things.
Not a bad list, just got to fit in more heavy weapons. A ADL with a Quadgun will really help out on anti air.
And more Multi Melta attack bikes if you can

BA jump squads with no priests are no better than C:SM ASM. Even with a priest, they are only somewhat more durable, since furious charge is almost a non-buff.
C:SM has very little to gain in general from allying with BA for a competitive list.

Originally I allied BA to get access to the Storm Raven because I can't stand the Storm Talon models. With Death from the Skies I know I don't need to do that anymore but I've come to really appreciate the BA Descent of Angles. Being able to re-roll reserves and reducing scatter by d6 makes the Assault Marines more useful. Not to mention that they count as troops and can use meltaguns in the BA codex.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll scrap the sniper scouts and reshuffle some upgrades to get 2 Multi-Melta Attack bikes in. I can also swap out the Heavy Bolter in the second Tactical Squad for another Missile Launcher which would be a bit more anti-tank. I find the ADL kills my mobility which really upsets my play style so I don't use it.

Welcome to Dakka Mynos! I think you'll like it here *wink, wink* You're missing the Storm Raven from your list (just the words "Storm Raven"). I understand where you're coming from about the Aegis, but I think the Quadgun would add some much needed Anti-Flyers to your list. Right now you have only the Storm Raven. If your opponent Intercepts or kills it in the 2nd turn, his Flyers are going to wreak havoc unmolested the rest of the game. Careful placement of the Aegis on an Objective in your deployment zone can give your Troops a great place to defend from, and improve the BS of the quadgun. Otherwise, a very solid list.
