In the previous editions of 40k a close combat blocked line of sight and you couldn´t shoot through it. I have a bit of a heated discussion with some friends whether this is allowed. You can´t shoot into a close combat so you shouldn´t get to shoot through one either. Can anyone settle this? I´d love some reference to the rulebook if it is allowed.
Thanks!

There would be a cover save, same as shooting through an allied unit, but there's no problem with it in and of itself unless LOS is completely blocked.

As pointed out, there is nothing in the current rules preventing it. And for what it's worth, it was actually only 4th edition that had rules against it. Every other edition has allowed it so long as you could draw LOS.

Indeed, it was only the "levels" idea in 4th that brought that concept in, and even then you COULD shoot through (past) a combat if you were a higher level than every model in the unit. So vehciels could fire over infantry, but stick an MC in there and even if it spanned the width of the table, MC at one end you couldnt shoot past it.

In 6th edition the rules are very, very clear: TLOS.
