So here's the thing. Tabletop Workshop have just launched an exclusive competition to design your very own Medieval Wargame Building. The possibilities are endless and if you win you get to work with the team to design the model every step of the way. We'll 3D print a prototype and then manufacture it when it's ready. As part of the design team we'll even let you engrave your name somewhere in the model. The contest is totally free. The link of the contest is below and it's as easy as writing your comments in the box and giving us your name, email and country. Hope you can check it out! The more the merrier!

You've created a contest to harvest ideas for your product line, the prize is to work for you, and you consider it a selling point that we don't pay you?

Give us a reason to want to win. If you're working in proper sprue plastic, giving the winner a bunch of free terrain including their building wouldn't cost much on your end. Or give them the opportunity to pitch their own, non-medieval building idea that they dream of being made a reality.

How often do you get the chance to tell your friends that you've designed a high quality plastic scenery product alone?! It even has your name on it. The contest only requires as much work as the designer wants. If they want to help us sculpt the building of their dreams they can and if they want to just give us an idea and take credit they can! It gives a lucky war gamer almost free rein on a massively expensive project!

Not really a selling point there...

I don't know,

If I was desperate for a particular type of building that nobody else sold then this would be an ideal opportunity to get it into production

KS project pledges that involve the a company sculpting 'your' mini and putting it into their game tend to be $2-3000, here you'll get 'your' building done for free

Normally you have to PAY sculptors to make your mini. Reaper does a design your own mini contest yearly I believe. Its a fun little contast, not sure why anyone would gripe about it.
