From my last list my list should be
Eldrad and fuegan in a wave serpent
10 FDs with exarch and fire pike
2x 5 squads pathfinders
2x fire prism
And since no one put a good argument about why I should not have 2 fire prisms I kept them but no one made a final decision about if eldrad should go with the FDs

How many points does that come in at?

Plus to fire prism: Long range, ability to take on anything with s9 AP2. Also ability to affect AP3 by twin linking for large blast or s10 AP1 to kill big heavies...
Minus: 230 points for 1 shot... Are you getting value for your 230 points?

Eldrad with FD:

Guide: Well can improve FD from 7 hits to 9 hits...
Fortune: Can improve vehicle jink save. Can cause rerolls of fire dragon AP 4.
Doom: Reroll of 1s that fire dragons roll. Can't cast within serpent.
Mind War: can cherry pick enemy...

Overall; Eldrad is pretty low impact in your list... For 210 you could get a falcon and 5 DA to take an objective or Prince yriel to add to the FD - making fuegan and yriel to beat down opponent.

Well since both recent FAQ's, we're unable to cast any of those while embarked, rulebook powers only, also they can Look Out Sir! mindwar, making it pretty much worthless. So Eldrad in that situation is pretty awful, not to mention a huge amount of points.

The list isn't that far from being OK, just drop Fuegan (he's a melee powerhouse, he needs to be with a melee unit, Fire Dragons are actually a fairly stupid place to put him), add another Wave Serpent and split the Dragons between the two for multiple redundancy. I know its tempting to take shiny special characters like Eldrad and Fuegan, but really troops and how you support them win games.

I'd say if you want to take Eldrad, best to stick him backfield with a Ranger squad and get him to Protect/Buff the firebase your Prisms and Rangers lay down.

You'll still be hard countered by Fliers and anything that Deep Strikes (Pods and Termies), not to mention having a hard time on Objective games esepcially against opponents with cover-ignoring weapons (more common that you may think). But Prisms and Dragons can be scary enough that you may be able to force your opponent into an unfavourable position by threatening him early with them.

The prisms are ok, they cover anti-GEQ and MEQ, while the twin dragon squads can deal with everthing else.

Sorry, the only aspects that Fuegan can join is his own, but he can join non-aspects such as Wraithguard, Harlequins (probably the best choice), warlocks or even Guardians (terrible choice). Thing is Farseers are so good that you don't really want to go without one but at low points you won't have the room for Fuegan too.

If this is a conceptual list rather than one made with models you have, that is much too few troops. 5/6 games are objective-based and Eldar just can't bring the firepower to win by tabling. Think seriously about putting points into Jetbikes or Wraithguard, because they actually have a chance of staying around.
