I want to be competitive but also have fun, what you guys think of this list? I know the Space wolves is spam but its effective

I don't know much about the Blood Angels, but the SW's look solid. Drop Pods would probably be superior to Rhinos though.

Actually with this list you might be right, i like the chapters cos they get stuck inso that could be an option - an expensive option seeing as i have none but an option none the less

Ok. So a few things that are iffy:

1. Meph isn't great... but he isn't horrible. 2 regular libbys/RP w/ Divination are MUCH better than him for the points.

2. Please.... Don't use the DC dread. There are better stuff for the points.

Heres and idea (same pts):

Librarian(Divination, Epistolary) - 100

X10 DC ( X7 PW[whatever you like], X3 TH) - 380

SR - 200

This is sticking to the idea of DC.

And with the Storm Raven and three drop pods deploying from reserve, your opponent won't have much to shoot at on turn 1. Your two melta GH squads then drop in and pop any heavy / dangerous armor. Long Fangs then shoot krak-missiles at the dudes who climb out of the wreck.

On turn 2, your plasma hunters can land and light up the occupants. Melta hunters can look for objectives and shoot their bolters. When the DC come in, they'll deploy and charge into whatever looks like a juicy target. With 7 power weapons, 3 thunderhammers and feel no pain, they shouldn't have a problem with anything.

Funny, I played a similar list a few days ago and did very well. I only played 1500 though, so some things were trimmed down a bit. It was something like this.

I played against an all Blood Angel list and by end of turn 5 he had 4 devestators left.
Key? Mephiston demolishing many 3+ dudes in combat. The only 2+ dude he ran into (Astorath) was killed on the charge because he failed a 2+ and got insta-gibbed by S10.
