The Spyder/Scarab combo can be switched for flavour (more wraiths, CTan etc) The idea is to have more in your face units (actually flayed ones would be good here) but with some backup if lightning fails early.
The stormteks with the small Tesla immortal groups are just to give AV 14 heart attacks (or flyers in a pinch).

I used a bigger version of this in a 2250 game and had a lot of fun with it (added a Ctan and some deathmarks plus a couple more Crypteks)

Btw, Imotekh goes in a Scythe (or you can drop a warrior and pop him in the GA).

Thanks Mark, I like that list. I may drop a unit of wraiths for the necron jet bikes just because I have the models. I'm assuming the destroyer lord goes in one of the wrait units?

What are your thoughts on using Imotek over a standard barge-lord? I like the night-fight, lightning, and flavor, I'm just leary of named chars in general.

For me, Imotekh is only useful when I'm running multiple CC oriented units and comparatively little shooting. The more shooting you have the more he hinders the rest of the army.

tbh, if you swap out a wraith unit for blades, I reckon you are on the borderline usefulness of Imo.

And yes, Destroyer lord goes with the wraiths.

I'm considering including the blades, a solar pulse, and a chronometron. The idea being to use chrono to maintain night-fight long enough to get everything into position with protection, taking advantage of any early assault opportunities. Once I'm in position, assuming night-fight hasn't ended already, I use the solar pulse, pounce for as much damage as I can, and proceed from there.

Suggest you post your list - are you replacing the stormteks?
