In this situation I would put lord with cultist to give them fearless, and instead of holding a home objective, I would push both plague rine and cult to midfield obj and enemy zone To contest. If enemy is faster then I would play defensively and hope to survive.

9/35 = almost 25%, so if enemy shoots and kills 10 cultist in first round, they run away.
