Hello Dakka. I have decided I've waited long enough for GW to finally update Sisters of Battle and have returned to Warmachine. Now I'm running Pmagnus with the usual Mangler and two renegades, but my question is what units should I fill out to 35 points with? Now I'm not going to be running the Agenda, bad seeds or most wanted so I'm thinking of running Nyss Hunters and Boomhowlers with my solo either being Saxon Orrik or Harlan Versh. I've not played since Mk1 so I'm curious as to how this list will run now.

The other side of the internet

Spiralingcadaver is actually running a blog on on his pMagnus over in the battle reports forum. That may be of some help:

I've found steelheads to be a solid choice if you can stomach the cost. They're versitile, numerous & fill a variety of roles. Pmagnus even does some stuff for the riflemen too.

Gorman di Wulfe has become an all-star in mk2, not as annoying as Eiryss was in mk1 but almost as popular.

Pirates are a good module but they require you to go all-in and invest in at least a full unit of sea dogs and several support solos.

Since you're running fourstar, look at kayazay assassins as a good unit.

Luckily I sitll have the Kayazay's from when I played Khador. I'm looking at the Boomhowlers or steelhead calvary at the moment.

Steelhead cav function best when you go full in with Halberdiers and Stannis. I think
if you already have Kayazy (and don't forget the Eliminators!) you can probably
hold off on the cav until you have more to work with them.

Stannis isn't that necessary.

Kayazy are a very different role than cav: cav hit like trucks; kayazy are decent fighters and mostly assassins and hard to budge once in melee.
