So I could have sworn the last time I was on gw's site the SW's had more hq's one in particular is the wolf priest, I could have sworn it was up their in the past but have they recently taken it down?

IIRC there's never been a Wolf Priest model barring the games day 2003? one and Ulrik.

They're pretty easy to convert from a chaplain model too, I even sculpted up a half-decent wolf pelt for mine after his sterling performance in a tournament and many long years of good service.

I really like this and will have to give it a try, but im also going to stop at my local gaming store and check but I honestly thought there was a finecast model lol.

Yeah I just converted one with the SW box stuff and painted it black instead of grey. No one has had any trouble identifying it, especially with the clearly obvious crozius.

I saw the GD model on ebay, it's a shame it's so expensive now. It's a cool model. However I wasn't interested in SW in 2003 or I'd have picked it up then.

If you go back far enough, there used to be the old Ulrik model and a runepriest in terminator armor.

I want that Games Day 2k3 model... I bought a Skaven GD2k11 for pretty cheap... but that's far more recent.

Yup I had the model wrong, I was looking at Ulrik who was faced around and I thought it was a wolf priest lol.

That Games Day model is pretty awesome. That particular picture is some of the best fur I've seen.

Yea that model is really nice, although his rozarius looks a bit like a brick but it is an older model lol. I got some ideas with a Space marine commander and some extra space wolves bits.

I've been planning a conversion for a Wolf Priest. I'll use a Power Axe handle or Thunderhammer handle and three or four of the loose wolf skulls that come in the Wolf Pack box to make the head of the Crozius rather than the eagle wings.

I would love to see that when you've accomplished so, I think thats a crazy idea. Im gunna get the space marines commander box with a space wolves accessories bit frame and try out some conversions of my own. I like the caped look but I also like that skull looking helmet.

I figure I may give him some robes, or at least a cloak, some of it fur of course. I dunno. I'm also going to use one of those same skulls for a helm, much like Ulrik's Helm of Russ.

Thats pretty much how I see them as well. Im not sure if I want a helm like ulricks or if I want one like the original.
