Just a friendly game at Dropzone Games in Maryland.

My list: 750pts
HQ - Typhus
Troops - 30 Zombies
Troops - 30 Zombies
Troops - 30 Zombies
Troops - 30 Zombies

Ork list: (Going off what I saw)
Warboss w/cybork bodie, klaw
Troops - 20 slugga boyz w/nob with power klaw, 2 big shootaz
Troops - 20 shoota boyz w/2 big shootas
Elite - Nob Squad with choppaz
Fast attack - 1 ork copta with x-link shootas
Fast attack - 1 ork copta with x-link shootas

Kill points, regular dawn of war deployment.
So I wasn't really planning on winning and 4 units of 30 zombies added up to 750 so well I went with it. I got Weapon virus and plague winds for my psychic powers and I go first.

So my plan was just to bum rush him and get as much of my stuff into combat with as few of his stuff. I strung out 1 squad in front to provide cover and I had Typhus in the front squad as he could just join to other squads as needed.

Bottom of turn 1. Basically we just moved at each other. He had his shoota boyz move to flank my zombie brick.

Turn 2. A few more of my squad 1 zombies die and I cast weapon virus on his slugga boyz.

Turn 3. 1 Slugga dies to gets hot (weapon virus) His Nobz and Sluggas make assualt.

His Nobz role badly and only kill 7 while his slugga boys fail to do anything.

Top of turn 4. This is where I pretty much end any kind of tactics in this game as I prepare to get my entire army into assault.

At this point I have the Nobz surrounded hoping to make them fail a Ld check and get trapped. Everything makes it into assault.

Turn 5. He charges everything into combat save the shoota boyz. Typhus kills most of the slugga boyz and my zombies put a few wounds on all his units.

Bottom of Turn 5. My feel no pain is making it very hard for his orks to get wounds through.

Bottom of turn 6. I finally lose Squad 1 and kill his slugga boy squad. Typhus gets kicked out of combat as he is too far from any enemies and takes a wound from a power klaw. Dakka Jets fail to "Hit and Run" due to ork Initiative 2 so are stuck in combat with 27some zombies.

Bottom of turn 7. I kill his dakka jets and put a wound on his warboss. Everything moves in to charge the boss. He moves his shoota boyz closer.

We keep going as we are having fun.
Top of turn 8. I roll pretty poor on my terrain checks so only pile in with the one squad in combat with the boss. Put a wound on the boss.

I kill the boss and move up to the shoota boyz.

Turn 9. I hit them with a plague wind and fail my charge. On his turn he shoots and charges me.

Bottom of turn 9. I roll very well on my feel no pain and lose very few zombies.

Turn 10. I assualt with Typhus and roll well with his deamon weapon and wipe the boyz out.

In the end I got his 6 Kp plus first blood and slay the warlord for 8 total and he got 2 Kp total for my second ever win!

I had almost triple the number of units and everything of mine was fearless and feel no pain. We both agreed that he should've stayed back and shot more. That Init 2 the orks have really hurt him this game and my fearlessness kept him from sweeping my squads.

What do you guys think of plague zombies? Nothing really can be said for tactics as I ran and got my army into combat to get rid of the movement and shooting phases. Any questions or comments welcome.

40k is as exciting as riding a pony, which doesn't sound very exciting.......

But the pony is 300 feet tall and covered in CHAINSAWS!

This report is like Zombie Apocalypse: The Orky version! Bigger pictures would be nice though.

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

Interesting report, I'm trying to imagine 120 zombies saying 'Brains....' in unison

Haha yeah it was a great game. I honestly thought he would trounce me but the number of dudes really helped out. I don't imagine this list would do well against any other army. Any kind of vehicle would give me trouble.

That was a fun game!! I want to play it again. Next time I'll make sure I have more time, so I can do a little more shooting and wear you down a bit. Despite your crushing victory, I feel that the orks preformed admirably and will live to fight another day!!

It was indeed. Yeah some more distance and shooting and it would be a very close indeed.

As for the ork player, a advice or two, i would suggest less nobz more boyz go full shooty, sure doesnt sound dat orky.. but they LOVE THEIR DAKKA! get some big bomms on those deffkoptas and turbo boost over the zombies and drop those large blast templates

Would also drop powerklaws in the means of this game, and go rather for big choppas.

tough i think a burna group could do some good here

Waagh like a bawz

Yes Burnas and big bombs would do wonders but the nobz were the biggest threat in my opinion. I had to speed bump my first squad to take the charge and shooting and then use pretty much the other 3/4's of my army just to take them down. :p

Maybe if he split his army into the ruins and just shot me, it would force me to split up and be way less effective or send everything at one side while getting shot from the other...lots of things could effect the outcome and this was just our first game so who knows.
