Hi all!
I am a new tau player and I am getting into 40k because all of my friends are into it. I have been an observer for a while (playing games like Space Marine and DoW), and I know a bit about the game. I currently have 1 crisis battlesuit,, 2 xv-15 steath suits, 3 xv-25s, 12 fire warriors, 12 kroot, 1 devilfish and a few gun drones.I don't yet have the new codex, and I was wondering whether to save up and get this or get a hammerhead or something. Also, any tips for gameplay?

I have always found http://www.advancedtautactica.com/ to be a great resourse for anything Tau related.
Your next buy is a bit tricky, are you wanting to get into playing the game or just painting and modelling. If you are keen to get started in the game a copy of the rules would be a good start tbh.
Gameplay wise Tau are not a point and click to win army they require an amount of finesse to win but that is part of the fun in playing them I find.

Welcome! Now that I have returned to the hobby I have learned that one of the local gamers has a Tau army of approximately 10K pts. I hope to be able to game with him in a month or so.
