Noticing how many people responded to the 'Should I get more reptiles?' thread, I thought I would start a thread for all of the Dakkanauts who are also part of the Herp hobby, in order for questions to be asked and for general discussion, be you a veteran or you haven't even gotten your first Herp.

We're qualifying reptiles, invertebrates and amphibians as Herps. Feel free to ask any related questions, including if you haven't got a herp and are just curious.

And... begin.

Currently, I've got a Gargoyle Gecko, however I will soon be getting a Corn or King Snake as well. It's juvenile, about half a year to a year old, and it's beautiful.
