So I've been playing a few games, I'm sticking to 150 for now until I can pick up more models (I know procying is normally ok, and it is at my store, I'm just happy with waiting). I'm yet to win a game, but I came really close last time (he had a Pan-O sniper with thermal optic camouflage left against my two volunteers, so I just couldn't take him). This is the sort of list I run, I'm wondering how it sounds to you guys? Does it lack redundancy in terms of heavy weapons? Does it lack orders? Does it lack hard infantry? Just wondering what you guys think, thanks.

Are you guys playing with the link team rules ?

We are yeah, I haven't used them yet though, should I be? I know there is a volunteer team in there, I just don't know if it's worth it, I use them as cheerleaders mostly

Well, the +3 BS if you have a 5man link team alone is good enough (that way at least you can block some corridors with them - even a BS10 order monkey can be dangerous with a +3BS mod and a +1 to his burst value!) so maybe change that T2 sniper to a regular sniper and you'll have points for a fifth volunteer (and that T2 isn't going to be of use more often than that frankly quite surprisingly annoying link team will be, for what I've seen my Acon regulars link team do over a few games this week...).

I didn't think about the HMG as a volunteer model, I forgot that option existed to be honest. Silly me. Really interesting idea, and their rifles can still put out a lot of fire as an ARO (if I'm understanding link teams right) in addition to the HMG's offensive capabilities.

And I meant to put in that Uxia, that is the one I've been using (2xAP), I don't know why I clicked the other one...oops.

Also volunteer link is insane. Rifles are better there, but chainrifles can be very nasty if you manage to get close.

Yeah, it was mostly a note for him ,as both profiles have different rules.
