Dante leading one assault group, the Librarian leading the other, Terminators and Dread in the Stormraven.

Those assault squads could use a special weaponry (Power Swords)
Your only heavy AT-weaponry is in one model. If you can Finder the points, there are 2 things I would change.

1) Give melta guns (and bombs) for assault squads. Maybe one in both 5-man squads to make them fast-striking AT-unit and then the bigger squads can focus on infantry.

2) Give a lascannon or two for one Dev-squad.

Yes, i agree with veneratedaniel. Corbulo is da man in 6th. 2+ fnp. Paired with a plasmagun + multimelta behind an aegis defense line is a prerequisite for a BA army nowadays. Again, place him so hes within reach your devastators squad.

I always bring the honor guard in my jumper army. Packed with 3 - 4 meltaguns. Paired them with dante or a jumper libby.

Thanks for all the input, one question though, aren't the TH/SS Termies, Furioso, and Stormraven all anti-AV 14 capable, with the krak rocket spam able to take down anything weaker than that?

th/ss are good agenst armor 14 if they survive to get there

furioso is only good agenst armor 14 with its magma grapple

stormraven is but i prefer tlmm tl assult cannon 2 huricane bolter + with its 4 missiles its really good agenst everything

krak rocket on a 6 can glance a vehical of arm 14 thats about it

If your assault terminators get shot down or fail the reserve roll what's the plan for enemy 2+ saves? This is one of the critical flaws of the ML. That and it sucks against AV 14 and AV 13. Yes, you can setup the MLs to try to get side shots, but LOS blocking terrain can cripple that plan.

The Stormraven is a horrible transport because a) it can get shot down; which TH/SS kinda negates, but b) blowing a reserve roll is going to make you straight up lose. Waiting for turn 3 to assault can be disaster. TH/SS should go in a land raider, imo.

Makes sense, I hate the Stormraven myself, but what are non-dark angels space marine players supposed to do against enemy flyers...

well the 1 book with the storm talon on that they updated it so that every faction can have storm talon and storm raven ( that are space marines )

Not quite. BT and C:SM got the Stormraven. That's all to my knowledge.

Where are your troop Sanguinery Guard?
That's what Dante is for.

The Sanguinary guard are probably hiding from all the plasma guns in the current meta

Greetings Brother Captain Peteralmo,

In 6th edition there's a mission called the relic and there's a secondary objective called line breaker that you want to avoid. Now, Corbulo does this elegantly. He tanks anything with his 3+ armor and 2+ FNP and an additional re roll on almost anything, while manning the quad gun with his BS5. An additional combo is if you put a librarian in the unit and get a divination>perfect timing that allows you to get ignore cover for the unit. Here you could ally with dark angels to get their cheap libarian and upgrade him to a lv.2. Just put Corbullo in a tac squad to give it more survive ability and remember its a 2+ for look out sir rule for a character.

The devastators should be hiding behind cover on the building and stuff to get that coversave, but make sure you have 1 model that is within the sang priest range. So, imagine Corbullo + tac squad (plasma gun + multi melta) hiding behind an ADL in the middle like a spear formation and the devs squad would surround him behind cover and claiming fnp.

If you're concern with AV14 vehicles. My jumper list comes with the honor guard. I equip them with 4 meltaguns. This unit is awesome, because It comes with a free priest. Pair em with Dante and a librarian Jumper. Get the prescience going. Here you get four 3+ re-roll melta range deep striking goodness. Once the vehicle pop, watch your opponent melt. DA libby does it better and cheaper though, with an auspex to get the +1 ignore cover.

And ill bring a sang guard and drop those th/ss termie since you got dante and you need more scoring units. 2+ is good against AP3 flaming drake. And deploy the ass squad 10 strong. Combat squad them depends on the mission. Claiming obejctives mainly.

I'd drop furioso dreadnought in 6th. and forget stormraven. ADL + 3 devas is enough.
