We're very excited to have Eric Summerer, of the Dice Tower Podcast, sitting in the third chari. Since Eric is a professional voice actor, we take the opportunity to grill him on what his profession is like and how does one go about recording an epic sci-fi audio book?

Later the three dive into a detailed review of Mice and Mystics. A great family dungeon crawler that gamers of any age will enjoy.

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:
- Total Fan Girl
- Do You Ever Notice
- News
- & More

I loved the reference to Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH. It brought back so many childhood memories.

I also may or may not have fist-pumped when I remembered what NIMH stands for.

Really interesting episode guys. I Have to call out Craig on his 'no-spoliers' position. After telling the secret behind the old people becoming soldiers he effectively spoiled the first major plot point in the novel 'Old mans War'. I've read it but if you hadn't that's a big surprise ruined. No hate tho. Keep up the good work.

Great job, Gentlemen! This was my first time with The D6G, and having Mr. Summerer as a guest was a perfect start. As a recent discoverer of the Dice Tower network I found it very interesting to hear about his audio career, and your in depth discussion of MICE AND MYSTICS (which seems to have a lot of buzz) really set the tone for how your show is set up and laid out. I look forward to listening to many more episodes, so keep up the good work.

Wow . . . maybe I just shouldn't talk . . .

Thanks for the kind words, guys, and welcome, Seekerpilgrim! Hopefully we grow on you . . . not in a bad way . . .

Far-stretching, endless Time
Brings forth all hidden things,
And buries that which once did shine.
The firm resolve falters, the sacred oath is shattered;
And let none say, "It cannot happen here".

Top episode as usual. TFG and DYEN were particular highlights this time round.

Good interview with Eric about the voice acting. I always like origin stories when they are about "geek dream jobs" and find them quite inspiring. I also gleaned quite a few tips for both bed-time stories and GMing but perhaps they could have been a bit more explicit though?
