edit; that looks a bit abrupt in hindsight. Trukk shootas in list 1 wont to squat compared to bikers. Also the biker boss will generally do more than the SAG. Lost the lootas but

Even with the extra boyz and lootas, list two is better?

Please explain.

I just can't make up my mind on which is best.

The 2 trukks provide easy kills and so would be the first to go. Especially since there's a klaw in there. As a result their contribution will be minimal. Yes it draws fire from other stuff but they still wont achieve much. At least the bikers could weather that same amount of fire and keep going (typically). The loss of the extra lootas would only be situationally problematic. Against most lists the bikers make up for their loss, but against any flier heavy armies, of course the lootas will be better. You have to take the chalk with the cheese I suppose.

Id say list one but drop a trukk squad for adl with quad and gretchin to fire it

Biker Nobz are that good? I've never used or faced them. Come to think of it, in twenty years of Gaming I've only faced three Ork armies and have won two out of those.

yes ork nob bikers are that good, they have 4+ cover save 4+ armor, t5 and usualy al have power claws with good shooting on the bikes, ork bike armys are really good

I didn't even realise Ork Bike armies were good.

id skip the dakkajet as they wont do good going as singles, instead i would rather spend more points into nob bikers.

and that said SRSLY get a waaaaaagh! banner, you want ur boss to be 1+ ws and so for your nobz.

After trying Lootas and Dakkajet in my last game for the first time, I can say that I'm not a fan of Lootas as I am the Dakkajet.

Seriously considering dropping the Lootas for a second and maybe dropping one of the Boyz squads and their Battlebus for more Nob Bikers.

I think I can get them into cc as long as I use the buses to block LOS.

All the Ork players around my neck of the woods have dropped Nobs from boys mobs. With the challenge rules they just die. I always run 30 boys in a unit as more is better and they are cheap. A shooty unit is 27 with shootas and 3 with big shootas. thats 30 models for 195 points and 61 dice to roll!

The SAG mech is great fun but so random that it can be real annoying. I always give my SAG Bmeck hvy armor and cybork and a claw as I roll way to many teleport to CC doubles.

Wazdakka makes regular ork bikers troops a warboss on a bike makes the nob bikers troops.

If you are going to run the nob in the boys mob give him the big shoota. If he hits on a 6 it is precision and you pick the target.

I put my nobs mob in a battlewagon as it frees up a hvy support slot as a dedicated transport. you can take 10 nobs AND a warboss in megaarmor for a real killy unit.

I like your list I think you need some more Lootas,

I run 3 sets of 10 lootas,

I run 2 sets of 30 shoota boyz with a nob,

Big MEK with Kustom Force Field is too good!

after that everything else is where you can fineness a bit. Here is a link of a build I did pretty well with just recently
