Ok so i have a rather small blood angels army and I'm in need of a heavy support but i here the Baal predator is good even thou its a fast atk so my question is this should i get a normal predator or a Baal predator?

I personally prefer the normal predator, and if you decide to switch armies you can still use it.

Predator AC w/ss LC is the way to go. Cheap, efficient, fast.

The Baal definitely has its place... but then, so does the normal Predator. You want it to fill a gap you're having trouble with.
The Baal's better for taking on masses of light infantry, like Orks or Tyranids, whereas the standard Predator is good for stripping light vehicles of hull points (with autocannons) or having a crack at bigger armour (lascannons). Basically, see what you already have and consider what you've had trouble with on the battlefield so far, and take a Predator to suit.

If you take the Baal, don't forget that as it has Scout it can also Outflank if you wish - a good way of surprising your opponent with templates before they have a chance to take it out.

Its not too helpful to say, but it comes down to what your fighting against. Also the other armor in your army. If you've got just the pred out there its gonna get wrecked.

If your only armor IS the pred id say regular pred, because its gonna have more range. That way you can stay away from the majority of the anti tank fire & powerfists. A regular pred with all laz is a real tank hunter. Autocannon & hvy bolters will mow down light/medium infantry, light vehicles & do a good job against bikes. If you've got other vehicles to take some of the heat off your pred you could get the Baal.

For a more ''all comers'' list id say the Baal. If youre just PUGing at the flgs the Baal can be more useful against all opponents.

Don't try to tailor your list. I realize that building TAC BA is a chore, but it's really the best way to play.

In general, I prefer the auto/las pred because it can engage targets that my plethora of S4 attacks from my marines can't hurt. The dakka Baal is anti-horde, and I use flamer ASM squads and fragnoughts for that. Templates == the win.
