We used the Allies FOC as our template for testing our armies for a campaign.

My list is:

Big Mek
Kff.

20 Boyz.
Nob - PK, Boss Pole and Eavy Armour. 2 Big Shootas.
20 Boyz.
Nob - PK, Boss Pole and Eavy Armour. 2 Big Shootas.

12 Lootas.

Dakkajet.
Ace, extra Supa Shoota and Red Paint job.

Vs

Draigo.

2 Paladins.
2 Paladins.

Crusader.

I won't go into immense detail, but what started out with me having a 2-0 lead in crusade, quickly turned into a bloodbath.

The Paladins entered in through deepstrike and Draigo hid in thevRaider. The Raider tore through my army and Draigo had a go at cc. The Paladins came down and with a lucky Holocaust nuked a mob on T5 and claimed an objective.

In the end I claimed Firstblood and killed a unit of Paladins.
My enemy claimed an objective and killed all but the jet.

7-2 GK win.

I didn't mind losing as the Orks are a very fun army to play. But I think I know what style of Ork army I want to play.

Yeah well a landraider at 750 pfff....

Hey mate, you'll find the only thing you can do to land raiders as orks is...

1. biker boss. S10 power klaw.. 4 attacks, 5 on charge, S10... 3's to hit, 4's to glance? only worry is the thing blowing up in his face from pen. chart and taking his last wound off.. (happened too many times for me lol)

2.. deffrolla the gak out of them. not as reliable as option 1.


for your lootas, you can split them up into smaller squads and place them far far away from one another... so if he deepstrikes something to kill them, they have a 48" walk to the other lootas, who will shoot them the entire trek over..

Also if they are smaller squads (10 or less) you can go to ground when you are shot at.. and if you place them in area terrain you're looking at +2 to your cover save so 3+'s regularly, and 2+ cover when you get some good ruins etc in way. (or an ADL)

I can't split anything down unfortunately.

The campaign uses a strict FOC like the Allies.

I know how to take it out in large games, but small games like this are a pain.

As you say though... Crusader in 750 lol.

change lootas to tank bustas costs the same and just charge that Landraider with str 10 rokkit hammers xD but that'd be just tailoring to kill the raider itself and not the palas.

I didn't see anything about how the KFF Mek fared in your report.

Was he worth bringing, or would you have been better off with something else?
