I recently became acquainted with 6th edition and was discouraged from continuing to run my Purifier list, so I decided I'd switch back to my first army, Necrons. I posted this to r/warhammer on reddit but didn't get much feedback, so I figure I'd try here. I generally play with DE, Tau, and SM. In particular I find the sheer number of models the Tau player can field daunting, so I'm trying to put as many boots on the ground as possible, and I'm disinclined to take vehicles because of HP - besides with the Gauss, to what extent is anti-armor necessary?
Destroyer Lord w/ sempiternal weave - 140
Troops
10 Immortals w/ Night Scythe - 270
15 Warriors w/ Ghost Ark - 410
15 Warriors - 255
10 Warriors - 130
FA
6 Wraiths w/ whip coils and particle casters -
300 10 scarabs - 150
4 destroyers - 160
HS
Doom Scythe - 175
Total: 1995
My general plan is to have a mob of warriors for mid-field or objective control bolstered by the repairs from the ghost ark. The destroyer lord gives preferred enemy to the wraiths and then charges up the flank to hunt elite infantry - lots of attacks, lots of rending, lots of rerolling, coming from tough multi-wound models. The scarabs would go with them and harry anything that would try to shoot them, preferably tanks. The other destroyers would follow behind and get off some ap3 shots. Alternatively, I could pair the destroyers or scarabs up with the 10 immortals harrying general infantry after dropping out of the NS. Finally, the doom scythe hunts tanks with the death ray and then switches to anti-infantry with the tesla destructor.
Generally speaking I think this list puts a lot of boots on the ground and is durable, but also has a highly mobile aspect. However, being inexperienced with new Necrons I wonder about the efficacy of what I'm attempting to do. So to that end, any criticsm is highly appreciated.

certainly i would take anti armor to at least some extent. i generally run 3 annihilation barges myself, and if there arent any tanks, they love tearin through the troops.
Hp really shouldnt be setting you off on necrons. (everything in the necron codex has at least 3 HP). on that note the hp rarely matters, If anything ap 2 pens you, the vehicle is as good as gone (4+).
1 ghost ark will become the focus of heavy weapons period, i would suggest running them in 2s, OR running another ground vehicle, so that you have another fire magnet.
scarabs and wraiths are good fun, the particle casters wont give you an extra attack in close combat, and while they are neat to have, i feel like the points are better used elsewhere.
maybe with the points you save from the particle caster give your lord the mindshackle scarabs.

D lord needs mind shackle and a res orb no invulnerable save hurts him... I run mine with destroyers so they benefit from the orb as well but then break him off the next turn to get that charge with him and the wraiths...

Ghost arks are the principal subject of debate amongst Necron players. Some prefer their warriors on foot to have a big horde, other prefer mobility.
To be honest, I prefer a big horde with a lord with ressurection orb, like that you have a solid unit that serves as a shield and can take out vehicules (since you have so many shots.
Once, I had a unit of 20 Necrons guarding an objective, plus a Doomsday Ark close tof them. My opponent decided to send his land raider, thinking he was taking no risk. Let's say he was wrong. On 20 warriors on the front and a Doomsday Ark on the side, if you roll well you'll tear appart this vehicule. He of course send his zerkers (from the previous land raider) againts my warriors, but each time he killed something, I was able to ressurect like 50% of my lost. On this subject: always have a necron lord with a ressurection orb and a warscythe if you face MEQ. If you get stuck in melee without these, either you'll die quickly or the fight will never end. In the end, I was able to force him to flee, and then shot the zerkers with my Doomsday Ark. End of story.
About your destroyer lord, do you intend on pairing him with the wraiths or the other destroyers ?
The thing about this HQ is he cost a lot of points, but he would still need a ressurection orb (you really always want this upgrade).
Sempiternal weave is a great thing in my opinion since power weapons are AP 3 now. But I'll still consider phase shifter if you are facing opponents that ignore armour saves (exemple, a monstrous creature), because with your low initiative, you'll be taken out quickly
