This sounds like a very good list although I versed a very similar except they put their harlequins in wave serpent to boost up the feild once then get out and get smashed by the orks but other than that it sounds pretty much the same list.

I have and currently play
orks 1500 points
space marines 1000 points

I have a couple ideas for you.
I'll exchange 2 fire prism for 2 nightspinners. You don't seem to lack anti tank power, moreover nightspinners add a bit of board control forcing your opponent to move slowly or dangerously.
Don't buy fancy pistols for the clowns and stick with a 4x of fancy knives. Just 4 because i suggest a death jester upgrade on the 5th clown. Additional fire power and challenge absorber? Yes please.
Here's a little crazy idea i tried and worked pretty well. Add a Jetbike Farseer, with fortune at least. Join him to the clowns. He is slowed by them, sure he is, but he sticks in the front of the unit. Jink + shroud + stealth = 2++ in the open, twin linked (fortune). Add doom or mind war for extra lulz.
To find the points i'll drop the scorpions and reduce death reapers to a 3 man squad. I'm not doing math but this point drop should be enough.
EDIT: spelling

I wouldn't take the scorpions - the avatar is a monstrous creature and doesn't have the independant character rule so he can't lead them (use them for ablative wounds is what I mean).
5 scorpions couldn't punch out an otter.
I'd drop them and get a few more harlies in there. Automatically Appended Next Post: Eldarcannon wrote:I have a couple ideas for you.

I like the death jester for the above reasons.
Consider the jetseer/harlies idea yoinked

No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives. |

One thing i just noticed is you run almost no troops. I'll suggest to find points for the third troop choice. Looking at the speed of the list i feel like a 3 man guardian jetbike unit is worth 76 points. 51" range of claiming and contesting objectives? Just crazy.

Hmm.... Interesting list you have. But few things I noticed right away.
First of all, your squads are small. They can't take any hits whatsoever. From my experience Harlies and pathfinders can take it, since they got stealth and shroud, but anything else...
Harlies don't pack a big punch in a group of 5's. Any casualties to them hurts their power a lot. Take them in squads of 10 with shadowseer and kisses, and you got a unit everyone fears.
At the moment your Avatar stands alone. 5 Scorpions don't do much, other than hide in the bush and die. Single monstrous creature without other infantry support is destined to get all low strenght shooting at him. And with only t6 and 4++ save, he's going to die fast.
What I'd do, is out the scorpions, in with more harlies. Avatar goes back to shelf, and bring in farseer, who hides in pathfinder squad and buffs your defensive squads.

Ok sure
How far is the range of death spinner
Get rid of avatar for a Farseer with bike and fortune nothing else
Make harlies a ten squad w no fancy guns just internal blenders and shadowseer jester and master w a Farseer fortune nothing else
No scorpions and dark reapers down to 3

You don't need the Master and the Jester. Harlies are great on their own and when charging they put out 4 attacks each when charging....who wants 40 Attacks with rending? I know I sure as hell do. Just for the cherry on top, they in crease their str by 1 when charging and can hit and run....Fun times and I just learned about the Avatar/ Harlequin combo. Simply have the Avatar go into combat ( Against mele deathstars only otherwise this is just silly, like Wraiths) and then the Harlies can Hit and Run all day long while the Death Star Still has to deal with the Avatar. That dude knows how to survive in CC...

Except in challenges. Moreover the troupe master has access to power weapon shenanigans, which basically means you can get a fancy power lance (+1S ap 3 on the charge). +1 LD might not be useful while within the Avatar, but you know "hope for the best, prepare for the worst".
Note that there are times when you actually want to issue/accept a challenge, especially when running a 5 to 7 man unit. Accepting a challenge most of the times means that you're sacrificing your damage output to be sure to stay locked in combat in your opponent's turn, which can or cannot be a good choice.
You asked for death spinner range which i understand as nighspinner range (death spinner is covered in both C:Eldar and brb). Nightspinner rules are found on the GW site in pdf form. Its weapon, doomweaver, is 12-72" S6 vp- TL, large blast, barrage, rending, monofilament web (counter: units hit consider their next movement as both dangerous and difficult after wich the counter is removed). Quite nasty if you consider you're getting 2.
