Paizo Publishing has announced plans to release a fourth book of monsters for its widely popular Pathfinder role-playing game. The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 4 will feature more than 250 creatures for use with the game.

Bestiary 4 will include monsters suitable for every level of characters, but this collection will feature foes of higher power than any included in the earlier Bestiary books. Creatures the likes of demon lords, clockwork dragons, and Lovecraftian "Great Old Ones"--even Cthulhu himself--are part of the book and are designed to challenge the new “mythic” level characters that will be the focus of the up-coming Mythic Adventures supplement for Pathfinder. New allies and character-friendly races are also part of the mix.

The book will be over 300 pages, and will have a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Pathfinder continues to be popular with both gamers and critics. It was the top-selling roleplaying game in Fall, 2012 (see "Top 5 RPGs--Fall 2012").

Hooray ! See GW ? A supplement that people want.

Roll on October I guess.

We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I love Pathfinder!

I don't need 4 Bestiaries, though. I want them, but I don't need them!

Books 1 & 2 are almost essential IMO.

Book 3.. well.. there's some interesting stuff in there.. always good to have more choice.

Frankly I'd actually kill for a BIG book just chock full of NPCs of all levels and classes.

Did you see the NPC Codex?

Paizo wrote:
The 320-page Pathfinder RPG NPC Codex includes:
Statistics for more than 300 characters, including at least one for every level of every class in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook.
Tactical suggestions for every character, ensuring that you get the most out of each individual’s gear and abilities in a fight.
Tons of flavorful names and backgrounds to give characters personality, plus ideas for using them in both combat and roleplaying situations.
Statistics for characters with lower-powered NPC classes to help populate your world with ordinary people, as well as characters with specialized prestige classes.
Animal companion statistics for druids and rangers, from level 1 through level 20.
Multiple versions of each Pathfinder iconic character, perfect for pregenerated player characters.
Encounter groups for conveniently crafting battles on the fly.

Remember red, the PF Corebook also has a great section for generic NPCs (warriors, wenches, etc).

Maybe at this coming gencon I can get their art director to let me make them monsters.

That would be so awesome.

The AD said they would have work for me last time... nothing yet though.
