How do y'all think this would fare? Everything is very synergistic with each other. Suggestions?

Ehh...not really a fan of that many jacks at 35, even with pSevy. While repenters are fairly independent and don't really hog focus (redeemers on the other hand), I think that you would really benefit from some sort of unit to help protect the jacks. In addition, I'm concerned about the coverage your choir has...if you have to split the jacks it might not end well.

I think it's solid, but I would put a unit in the list to lessen the drain on Sevy and to have screening/tarpitting capability

The problem will be if your opponent brings stuff like Satyxis or Daughters that are fast and can jam you. Now you can't shoot and you have few attacks tied up in lots of points. And nothing to stand in the way to prevent it.

Ok, this is straying a little from my original concept.... but how about...

This adds the infantry screen that was suggested, but it is still jack heavy.

Looks pretty good to me. You could possibly get away with a min Choir and getting some Wracks to help with focus, but it's probably not necessary (most of those jacks don't need any focus under Eye of Menoth anyway).

Errants for skirmishing in front, Repenters and Vanq for infantry removal and the Vanq and Reckoner for ranged and melee damage. I like it. You might have some trouble if you come up against a Stormwall, if it can cripple your Reckoner you'll have a hell of a time taking it down, but outside of that, i think it'll do ok.

There is one possible change though, if it suits you, and that's to look into pSev's theme lists, specifically up to Tier 2. If you change the Errants to a min and a max TFG fo the same points, you'll get a TFG UA for free. That, of course, would require owning two units of TFG, so possibly not the best if you're just starting up.

Anyway, good luck with it all

After a little further thought, I came up with another possibility. By dropping the repenters and replacing it by a redeemer, I can drop down to a min choir, and in total save 3 points. Also, it gives me a ranged option that is not fire damage. (Which, in looking at my previous selections... fire immunity would be quite a pain to my previous list.) How does this weigh in?

Options for the extra 3 points:

Covenant of Menoth and a Mechanic
OR Eiryss, Angel of Retribution
OR Rhupert and a Mechanic (though I think I'd get more out of the book and Mechanic than Rhupert and Mechanic.)
OR Gorman and Mechanic
OR Nicia

Thoughts? Should I stick with the previous list or go with this one? What would you do with the 3 points? I'm worried that dropping another jack takes too much away from the "jack heavy" concept, and leaves the list lacking punch.

Wracks always before mechanik. The Mechanik is just so situational, and when I do get an opportunity to use him effectively, he'll usually fail his skill roll, but Wracks are always a solid choice.

The only thing about that list is that you've kind of moved off the jack heavy idea - 3 jacks is pretty standard in a protectorate list. If you could steal an extra point from somewhere, you could get a repenter. If not, then consider getting a Heirophant for the +2" spell range on Sevvy, which will help him sling spells without an Arc node.

Well... The only place to get another point from really would be by striking one vassal, which I would hate to do. I would really like one with both the Reckoner and the Vanquisher. If I dropped one Vassal though, I could score a Repenter and a max choir again. Alternatively, I could take my chances with a min choir and pick up some wracks.

Thoughts? Basically between this list and the one before last, it comes down to the question -- is the increased range, fire power, and non-fire damage of the Redeemer (over another repenter) worth dropping a vassal off the Reckoner?

Anyone have any comments?

I would keep the 2nd vassal personally. I just like the enliven/ancillary more than the repenter
