I purchased a herald of Khorne and was enjoying building it until I came across a slight problem. The cut for the head does not line up with the body's cute. Is this common? If so how would others recommend to solve this trifle?

With FC the only thing you should do is call GW customer service and have them send you a replacement.

When said replacement shows up look over the pieces and pick the best of both to make a reasonably ok model.
