I hate having all of my figures in the same pose. The new broadside doesn't seem to offer many options. Here are the two I've come up with so far, has anyone had luck with anything different looking tolerable?

Can't you do it standing up?

I haven't managed to find a standing pose that looked okay.

Your problem is that you're using the wrong weapon load out.

Making them missilesides will allow for far more dynamic posing...plus its just the right thing to do...

I know the rail guns aren't as popular as they once were. Err... Heavy rail rifles... But they are serving me very well so far. My army is rather static, and having the range to press my opponents to close is important. They've been working quite well to that end, and as anti flyer.

Have you tried cutting the arm joints and reposing those? That might help. Also, does the left arm 'plug' into the actual railgun? If it doesn't, then try making/finding a good "hand" bit and have it either free or supporting the gun in a sort of jogging pose.

the problem with the arms is that the right arm is actually part of the rail gun, and the left arm has drastically different proportions. I like the idea though. Maybe I can figure something out for better hands.

Snip the torso pin at the base and trim the crotch plate so it can swivel. I've only put a few missilesides together but that seemed to work for me. As far as the legs go you could always use the xv8 legs and armour leg pads to cover any cutting issues. Not sure if the xv8 legs would work with the new broadside feet. Might need green stuff. Btw, if you need any eBay sells it for $15 for 36" . Look for kneadatite 36. Best of luck.

What about using the missile pod arms? Cut off the missisles, thin down the arm, and cut out the arm bit on the gun?

That's not a bad idea. I'll try that tonight.
