At my FLGS in the ork section there are three unopened metal nob boxes(3rd edition i believe?), i was thinking about picking up two or at least one of them. My question is does anybody have pictures or know of the contents in the boxes? also on a side note, is this a lucky find

I don't own any of them myself, but I have played against the old metal nobz a couple of times. In my opinion the new plastic nobz look a thousand times better than the old ones. So, unless you really like metal minis, I personally wouldn't bother.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Depends on if they are 2nd edition or 3rd. 1st and 2nd edition nobz were pretty goofy looking and rather small. 3rd edition look pretty much the same as the latest. Most if not all of Brian Nelson's Ork sculpts from 3rd were great!

They're good looking figures, not especially rare or anything, but are eclipsed completely by the plastic Nob kit. If they're selling for markedly less than the plastic Nobz, go for it. The models have separate heads and arms, which are kind of a pain in the ass to keep on the models since they're so heavy. You'd better be ready to do some pinning if you want em to stay together.
