Somewhere in the steamy jungles of the south...

I had a ton of fun painting these models. I decided early on not to go with the cold blue look that Studio McVey went with, and to instead go with a warmer look. I think it turned out well! I painted all of the Vanguard models, while my commission partner Sabrina Heath of Itsacoyote Studio did all of the Strain models. Everything, save for the named Vanguard characters/the drone, were painted to Trooper Quality, which is my above-tabletop level. The heroes were painted to Hero, which basically means I do all I can to make 'em stand out.

Anyways, enough waffling from me! Here are the pics. Enjoy!

(Didn't get any close up pics of Morgan Vade, much to my chagrin. I hope the rest of the heroes make up for this!)

And that's all, for now! We'll be painting up almost everything else from the Sedition Wars Kickstarter, so there's much more of this to come!

Cheers!

Exceptional!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Makes me want to get to work on some of mine. Great job. I also like seeing a different color palate than studio mcvey's.

Hey, thanks! I wanted the Vanguard to have a more modern look, so that's why I chose the warmer white tone.

Thanks for all the love you guys!
