So, here's the first battle of a three round tourney between my old tau with the new codex vs Imp Guard and Grey knights

I'd suggest adding at least a team of 10 pathfinders in a 2k list though. Being able to drop the guards cover and boost the bs of your ordinance weapons would've really benefited you a lot Also marker hits now help increase snap firing, and other markerlight shots can increase BS too.

Great battle report! I really enjoy this style of video, and you did a good job explaining things and editing. I think the Irish flag, accent and the fresh brew are a nice touch for Identity (weather that was intentional or not). Keep em comin.
Maybe you should have deployed the kroot as close to the relic as possable. They would have at least drawn some fire from other targets, and who knows maybe even grabbed the relic t2.

Fine malt was just what I was drinking at the time.
I found that 2 five man teams of Pathfinders with some other, misc markerlights are usually enough but I'm thinking of using the Commander with Markerdrones squad everyones been talking about because I'm becoming less and less of a fan of the static gun line.

I love how you are talking, but your hand just forces the beer to your mouth and you accept cutting yourself off with it. I would say i like this style of cutting in out of the players mind/whats going on. I suggest refinement, make it less wordy, but i enjoyed watching it. The music made it easier to watch.
