When a squad is embarked in a repressor, 2 men can fire from the top, and 6 can fire from the firing slits. There's 3 slits on each side, and the embarked squad must target the same unit. So, you typically can't fire out of every fire point each turn.

Now, if there is a unit spread out wide enough and perpendicular to the front of the repressor, i can see how all 6 fire points would have LoS, but what is the typical arc of the fire points?

We have been playing that the fire points are 180 from the side, so a tad less of an arc than a sponson has p72(arc 2). This creates a blind spot 2 inches wide in the front and back. Is this how most people play it?

It's only one from the top and there's no arc of fire per say.

If you can draw line of site from a fire point to your target, then all your sisters can shoot at the target. No where in the repressor rules does it say that it's one sister shooting per modeled fire point.

The BRB says that only a single model can fire per firing point, page 78.

Yes and represser said it has 2 for weapons and 6 for bolters. So up to 6 shoot standard bolters and 2 can fire special weapons.

One model can trace LoS and range from one firing point at a time. Page 78.
While the model has 8 firing points, they do not all face the same direction. Therefore it would be difficult to have models shooing out of all 8 firing points at the same time.

I can no longer find the imperial armor 2 update hosted by forgeworld, however a pletora of other websites have it and here it is:

http://www.tralfazsolutions.com/MegaBattle/IA2Update28Aug.pdf

And to copy/paste it here:

Special Rules:
Fire Points: Up to six passengers may fire their basic weapons from
the repressor’ fire points. Additionally one model may fire any weapon
from the top hatch. All models using the fire points must engage the
same target, although they may engage a different target to the
Repressor itself.

So six basic weapons from the fire points and one special weapon from the top hatch.

The situation is ambiguous. Nowhere is it defined how fire points are distributed on the Repressor and if you take page 78 from the rule book, it also mentions "unless specified differently in the vehicle's entry" and the rule above would fall under those circumstances.

If we go back to the original Imperial Armor 2, the fire points are mentioned on it and the amount listed is 2 with the specification one appears to be the top hatch for a special weapon and the other is "firing slits" for six boltguns. Now page 78 would break this since it would mean only two models could ever fire out, however the rule being more specific would address this under the "Unless specified..." clause.

An update is necessary at this point to define how many fire points are available on the repressor, how they are distributed and how they actually work. As it stands you can take a single slit and the rule say up to 6 models can fire from it. Heck per those rules you could have up to 6 bolters shooting from the top hatch along with one special weapon.

Can someone come up with something more recent than the above regarding the repressor?
