For reference this is how it looks on a model (not mine)

I have the models I plan to paint undercoated in the spray now but I'm not sure which colour would be the best shading to make it look like ceramic cream, rather than bone. I also haven't used lahmian medium before, so any advice on how to create a glaze with it would be most welcome.

So you're planning on glazing the basecoat to get it to look more like porcelain? Once that's done will you be adding shading and whatnot?

If that's the case, I'm thinking that using a 1:1:3 (white : gloss varnish : lahmian medium) might give you the sheen of porcelain, but you'll need to shade the recesses with brown or black or a mix to get depth out of it. The gloss varnish component should help the shade slide off the high parts and into the crevices, but a little flow-aid mixed into your shade should help break the surface tension of the shade and get it into the crevices really well too.

I don't think you can get the effect you want out of a single glaze.
