Subject: plate mail metal primer from The Army Painter.
I just tried to use this product on an old rhino I had, and the result is not very good : the paint seems to be "dry" and granular. Has somebody still used this product ?
And yes, I have shake the can for 2 minutes befoire using
Thanks !

Have you used other AP sprays before? They're *very* sensitive to distance from the model. Especially with a large vehicle, you'd have to be careful that you're actually moving the can to reach the areas further from you and not just angling the spray further back (which will increase the distance the paint travels).
I haven't used their plate mail primer, and it may well be different since it's a metallic. But the other ones I've tried work well... once you've had some practice. Definitely watch their tutorial video on YouTube if you haven't already.

I've used AP Plate mail spray, it does work but one has to be very careful about the distance.
But Plate mail does have one very large disadvantage when doing normal models: gives very "glossy" surface, and it's hard to get other paints to "stick" to that.
