It was on a different page bit thanks it got me there!

I take that to read that in the case of the Aegis that it is deployed unmanned, placing it too far forward could mean the enemy get to man it first?

Yes, but by placing it in your table half your gonna be pretty safe.

Daemon armies (especially ones based around Flesh Hounds) often like to deploy an Aegis right up on the middle line. Then they Scout move right up behind it, so the whole enormous unit (or two) of 2W hounds has 4+ cover (or maybe better, if it's Night Fighting) and is halfway up the table when turn 1 starts.

I've a purge the alien game in a couple weeks, BA vs SW and am toying with bunkering down and letting him come for me, If I can get over it not being very BA!
