Hi all,

Played a few games of fantasy but still very nooby. I have just got the new WoC codex and would like a hand at writing a all rounder list. Me and a buddy are starting to learn and he uses DE. So I have a few models but willing to buy some more. I will highlight models I have and ones I do not. If there is anything major I have done wrong I apologise in advance. All C&C welcome thanks.

A few things. Assuming you mean DoN on the DP? Anyway, your Lord points limit is 375. I would drop flight and give him dragonbane gem, scaled skin and sword of striking.

Champions are really worth it for WoC bunkers, as else your sorc is foeced to issue challenges. Marks are also very worth it. MoT gives a 5+ parry, which is a massive survivability bonus. I would lose a warrior and add MoT and Halbreds - Seriously nasty core block. MoN is also awesome, if you can get them to CC.

Another knight or a second unit of hounds fits in.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. I have updated the list in the original post. I couldn't fit in another unit of hounds or another knight if I put the halberds on the warriors. I have used two units of warriors before but I found one unit was picked on and utterly destroyed so thought maybe a larger group would be better?

I have a question regarding scaled skin 5+. So this improves the armour save if you already have one. So my Demon Prince would have a 2+ or 3+ save now?

Are people finding MoT or MoN sorc better these days?

MoN is much better. MoT is literaly useless if you give them halberds because you cant use a shield let alone parry when you have a 2 handed weapon. Either drop halberds or swap MoT for MoN.

It is not literally useless. It gives them a 6++ all the time, which makes them more likely to get to combat and stay alive in it. MoN is great too, especially combined with banner of swiftness, but you can get blown to peices before reaching combat.
Lore of Nurgle is way better than Tzeentch, so I am not putting marks on sorcs going in a Tzeentch bunker now.
I would go MoT on the warriors, Lore of Nurgle on unmarked sorc and try to give the block regeneration. Kickass ward and str bonus.

If you drop the third eye and MoT, you could take blasted standard, which is awesome, or banner of swiftness and add burning body to the dp or ironcurse token and terrifying visage to the sorc (mainly as cheap fear protection)

In the current book. There are several standout choices. The first is the nurgle DP, which you have.

The second, and the core, is the khorne chariot. These guys are so good for their cost. If you charge a chariot, it will likely die. But this has a 3+ armour and 4 WS5 S5 attacks. Even in the flank. Warriors are still good, but chariots are just that good. Although they serve different purposes, I would try to fit at least one baby chariot in.

The third, is the nurgle sorcerer. It is not just the ‐1 to hit in combat. LoNurgle has what is possibly the best spell in the book. Curse of the Leper. The +D3 toughness on your own units is so good, it puts the rest of the lores to shame. AND, LoNurgle gives you access to death. Which allows you to bubble soulblight. Which is basically a bubble wildform, without the armour penetration help.

Currently, I'd drop the knights too. With the advent of skullcrushers, their role has been filled by something that does it better. Much better. SO, I would drop these guys for the baby chariot.

The reason why I have put the MoT sorc in is because of the so called Unkillable unit. Do you think it is worth dropping this altogether and take a Nurgle Sorc instead?

If that is the case shall I mark the warriors with nurgle too with the halberds?

Chariots seem awesome the only reason why I have put one in is because I currently have none and therefore don't really want to shed out £50 for them when I am just starting, hence the reason for the inclusion of the knights.

I am needing to buy the DP and the chariot then I have everything else in the list.

I now do not know where to put or what to do with the sorc?

I think metal will be really strong against HE, so MoT would be fine. You could go all nurgle, especially if you are playing someone with not too much shooting. Or you can have sorcs with no marks, who can pick from 7 lores.
