Notts, England.

Hi all,

Been out of the wargaming scene for a few years now. After a recent trip to Warhammer World in Notts with a mate I've started to get the bug back. Just dug out all my old miniatures and forgot how many I'd actually acquired lol
I started out when I was a lad with Space Marines (Blood Angels). Being naive though I just bought what looked cool then painted them badly. After this I moved onto Eldar. It was with these that I first started gaming. Don't think I ever won a battle but again just bought what looked cool (Here's looking at you Swooping Hawks). The painting got a little better though, only a little. After Eldar I bought the Tau battleforce set and an extra XV88 Broadside suit. I just realized that barely 50% of these are painted. Crazy to think how quickly I must have just dropped off the tabletop (so to speak).

Anyway, I remember this forums name from years back when me and my friend used to read the battle reports (gripped to them as if reading actual historic events). I figured this would be a good place to get reacquainted.

My first order of business when I get some photos together will be to trade off some of my older models to a good home. In hopes of starting anew with Space Marines of the Ultramarine chapter (I intend to take my time a little more with the painting this time around and buy with the idea of fielding an army as opposed to just whats pretty). I'll check out the swap market after this introduction.

Thanks for reading.
