Games Workshop used to have all kinds of tutorials. Since they launched their new paint line they took them down so as not to confuse us poor plebs with different color names.

To pain the imperial eagle, it depends on how the rest of the model looks. What is the scheme of your army?

Or are you asking how to paint the terrain piece of the imperial eagle?

Same basic construction for larger freehands, then square off the feathers into blocks, make nicer claws and heads... But you basically start with the same.
