I have a question about Pask

In "heavy" rule we can read:
Heavy vehicles are
always treated as having remained Stationary.

So, for enabling crack shot this "always" is working?

RAI I wouldn't have thought so.

Actually, doesn't the rule for Pask state that it specifically only works if the tank remains stationary?

I would argue that this is probably the only positive to come from the change to the heavy rule.

Other than the massive boost to all Russes that aren't vanilla or Demolisher?

I recieved opposing answers about Pask on other forums - some say Pask can use crackshot while moving, because it's as stationary, others say tank should be really stationary

also, I have another question about tanks:
in Imperial Armor book Vanquishers can take coaxial weapons to increase hit chance, but in Codex Vanquisher dont have that upgrade. Does it means coaxial upgrade is obsolete rules?

It kind of irritates me when people try to take the position that makes things like this overcomplicated. It's simple. If something is "treated as" something, it IS that thing for all rules purposes unless specifically stated otherwise. In this case, it's treated as having remained stationary, meaning that all rules dependent on whether or not it moved will be based on it NOT having moved.

I would expect my opponent to apply the same logic to any situation which uses the "treated as" terminology.

There is NO SUCH THING as MORE ADVANCED in 40k!!! There are ONLY 2 LEVELS of RULES: Basic and Advanced. THE END. Stop saying "More Advanced". That is not a recognized thing in modern 40k!!!!

"For the purposes of determining which weapons a Heavy vehicle can fire (and at what Ballistik Skill), Heavy vehicles are always treated as having remained Stationary."

by extension, and as a result of the specificity here, Heavy vehicles aren't counted as stationary for any other purposes (unless a separate rule specifically says otherwise).

Pask's Crack Shot is not covered by this rule.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Drunk has this covered, otherwise you'd always automatically hit a Heavy vehicle in CC (since it would have "counted as stationary").

Right, no confusion here, as Drunk pointed out.

@OP: When asking a question, please don't quote an incomplete rule simply to muddy the waters of the debate. If the complete sentence were quoted here, there would have been no debate to be had at all.

Thank you drunk for looking up, and posting the entire sentence.

EDIT: Clarity
