I'm curious to try powder pigments and was thinking on getting a couple from Forgeworld. I was planning to get the black for exhausts and a rust, but undecided which one. I would get Orange Rust, but I fear it's too bright, so maybe the Aged Rust would be a wiser choice? For "everyday" use, which one would be best?

I haven't used the FW stuff just Vallejo and SWM.

I haven't ever used just one, as you kinda layer them to add tone and a bit of depth to your coloring

There are a good amount of YouTube tutorials on how to use the rust pigments to great effect, the best I've seen are on historical mini's but the technique is the same.

I like the aged rust. Not too orange, mot too dark.

Ive got both and i ive mixed them to get a mid rust colour, but the aged rust in my opinion is the better of the two.

maybe here, maybe there, but never where
