Hello all, ok first off I have the warhammer rulebook and have read the unstable rule, I just can't get my head around.it, could one off you lovely people explain it to my.simple mind?

There are several parts to it. Which part is the issue? I will assume it is the crumbling part.

Basically, however much you lose combat by, you take that many more wounds with no saves or regeneration. So if your Zombies lose combat by 7, they take 7 additional wounds.

They don't. It only works with Daemonic Instability, which is similar to Unstable. Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings gain no benefits from those regular interactions.
