Hello,

Every game we seem to have an assault which we don't really understand how to play. I have watched a few videos now but each one always seems to contradict the other in some way.

Can anyone recommend a good video demonstrating the assault phase in 6th edition?

This weekend just gone we had a line of Ork Boyz assaulted by a squad of Gargoyles. The Gargoyles were on the far left of the Boyz and were successful on their charge. The Gargoyles moved into base-to-base contact with around 4 Boyz. The others moved to be 2” away from another model and the remainder just moved as close as possible. This left around 16 Boyz with the furthest one being about 15” away.

If enough wounds were inflicted could the Ork Boy furthest away be removed?

Just for a second lets assume the Boyz are not fearless. If the Orks lost the assault and failed the relevant tests, could the whole squad of 16 be swept?

For you questions.

1: Yes if there are enough wounds in the pool, all boys could get killed (except it got faqed)

2: Yes Units that get caught in a sweeping advance are killed
