How does this sound for a 35 point? This is for serious and fun matches because I am not quite skilled enough for steamrollers.

Saeryn +5

Carnivean 11
Scythean 9
Typhoon 12
2x Shepherd 2
3x shredders 6

The shredders are shields or solo hunters. The Shepherd are there for healing and in a pinch to block charge lanes. I like the carnival and sythean combo for killing heavies. Typhoon is my anti infantry and heavy killer and he is a PAIN to kill. I have only played 10 games so far and have yet to lose but have gone down to Saeryn and typhoon and pulled a lucky assassination. I personally prefer beast over infantry but open to suggestions.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm fond of this list at 35pt games because its very difficult for several lists to deal with. It suffers from heavy ranged lists, but short of that it works well for me. It is not original by any means, but does perform well

Angelius 9
Angelius 9
Scythean 9
Scythean 9
Forsaken 2
Forsaken 2

It has a lot of tools built in, including RFP from the Scytheans which in todays meta has become important. Overtake on the Angels can turn them into an infintry clearing machine, and the forsakens are just enough fury management to keep pushing hard, while having them as backup offense that comes in handy mid-late game.

One issue with the list is it lacks a Shredder, which puts Saeryn as risk a bit, but she can stay back extremely far back and still be useful. 35 pts is a strange pt level that I find full tilt lists work better for me than a more balanced list which is harder to create with fewer points.

I don't miss Typhon with her, but Breath stealer makes his sprays scary. I don't think the Carni is really necessary, but it does help against the ranged game. Putting both in a list seems to be less point effective than I'd prefer. Ravagores are great with everyone and makes your opponents play more honest with their casters.

I'd also suggest to swap out a shredder for a Harrier since it is a fantastic Blight Bringer target. The Afflictor is money with her because of her feat and almost always pays for itself and the Raek can be very interesting tool to have in her list. Leap to their caster and Blight Bringer them can really kill High DEF, low ARM Warcasters (Killed Harby with that).

Try out different lists and play around with all of her tools and see what works best for you. There are plenty of write ups on her and how to best utilize her toolbox.

With Saeryn you need a shredder and some spell martyrs to deliver her spells. If a unit clusters up, rabid run a shredder into them and blight bringer them to death. If not breath stealer will slow them down for a round and it can't be purified away.

I would go:
Saeryn
Scythean x2
Ravagore
Nightlurker
Shredder
2x Martyrs
Shepherd
Forsaken

Building: Retribution of Scyrah
Playing: Warmachine: Retribution of Scyrah; Battletech Alfa Strike

If you are going to solo hunt I would use the Harrier. The auto hit animus and the free strike imunity on feat turn are good for this very purpose.

I would also drop the other Shredder for a death Stalker.
