After I ran out of badab black wash, I got some nuln oil shade but whenever I use it white spots appear all over the model. I tried shaking the bottle but I still get the same results. Does anyone else have this problem?

Probably part of a bad batch - Try contacting GW and getting a replacement.

If that doesn't work out, a very very good alternative to old Badab Black is Army Painter Dark Tone. And by 'very good' I mean 'impossible to tell the difference between the two paints'. Normally works out a touch cheaper than GW washes since they come in 18ml pots as well.

I've had the same/similar happen with a Vallejo brown wash. Might be not enough acrylic medium.

Photo?
Could be a bad batch of paint as mentioned, could be being applied too thick and drying with glossy spots that appear white when reflecting light?

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

I've had the same issues with some of the new GW washes. Once it was simply a bad pot and got better after I bought a enw one. But I've also noticed it gets worse if you thin the wash with water.

Definitely sounds like not enough medium then, which is easily fixable.

Medium is cheap to buy...and once you have it, you are very close to being able to make vast quantities of your own washes for next to nothing (compared to GW)
