Freebooter Miniatures, of whom reknowned sculptor Werner Klocke is a part of, has finally put for sale their "Legends" set that was created in their Indiegogo Campaign.

The Legends set consists of 5 Miniatures and contains one for model for each faction.

Additionally, three 12-month limited run miniatures (also from the Indiegogo campaign) are availble, all of which are mercenaries.

If you have any interest in pirates or are a fan of Werner Klocke's miniatures, I urge you to check them out. My batch came in yesterday, and they're pretty darn cool. Additionally, Freebooter's Fate is a fun, fun little diceless tabletop game that I'd urge anyone that enjoys Malifaux to check out.

Remember, the Legends set and the Mercs are only available for a limited time, so if you're interested, act sooner rather than later!

I'm jealous. I was hoping my set would show up today, but it did not. :(

*fingers crossed* for tomorrow.

Still waiting for my set to show up as well

Got an email today announcing that all the kits were delivered to the shipping company. So not even shipped yet :(

It probably has - they were shipping alphabetically.

And someone with a W posted on the freebooter's board yesterday or the day before about having received his shipment already (of course, he was German, so it shipped quickly).

So only the very last kits must have been handed off today.

Also, I'm a "D" and in Ohio.

The minis all look great. Was hard to decide how to build them with all the options!

Damn - there goes my hope for arriving tomorrow! I'm an R in Illinois. If a D is just now arriving I must be several days off still.

Got them last....Thursday?

Have them assembled. They look great. It was hard to decide how to build them with all the options. I still don't have Calamaties head on cause I can't decide which to use.

Got mine today - an R in Illinois. So I'd say unless you're a Zimmerman living in Alaska you'll most assuredly have your package before week's end.

They turned out great - very intimidating though with all the parts, and soo many cards to sort through. I can't believe they got them all in such a small box.

And finally! I can scratch one KS off the list as being completely fulfilled. Thanks ruthless, German efficiency!

Just got home and nothing in the mail box

L out in California.

Hope it is just suffering from ruthless Californian inefficiency.

Wow, 60 euros for that box... seems steep.

Freebooter has never been on the cheap side but you do get quality product.

Good stuff!

It's true - sculpt quality-aside. I was marveling last night at how few and faint the mold-lines on the legends were. It took me another two hours last night just to sort everything up for storage!

I forget the exact total - but at the end of the campaign it was about $10 a mini - which is about as cheap as Freebooter minis get.

They're a bit on the high side, but the sculpts really are top knotch, and like Schmapdi said, the clean up on the minis is close to non existant. There were a few (very few) mould lines on like, 2 models, and that's it. If I'm going to pay $12-$18 for a metal mini, Freebooter or Infinity are where I'm going.

The nice thing, too, Tides, is that you can legitimately play the game and have a good old time with one of their starter boxes. And it's a pretty darn fun game.

keep in mind that these minis are also a one year limited edition run...
once they are gone, you may even see the prices jump way up...
i sold one of my LE Angel's (unpainted) for $75, and that was 5 years ago...

Werner does great work...

cheers

Hey Jah - you don't happen to have an extra Qualani laying around do you? I can't even find one for sale.

unfortunately, i only got one, and it was one of the very last ones...
she won't be up for sale until she's painted...
i don't have doubles of any of his other LE's...
my most prized is his single Rackham sculpt, the alternate Isabeau...

just got Ambush last weekend, and i can't believe that Werner fit a little vignette onto a 25mm base...
it's so cool, with the pirate lass sitting on the wrecked boat, about to be jumped by a little goblin behind her...

now i just have to decide if i want to get Gunpowder Mary...
i'm not a fan of the mini, but am a bit of a completionist...
she looks like she's surfing a cannon, which is a bit silly...

all of the IGG LE's look cool though, and since they will only be available for a year, i'll definitely be grabbing them...

best of luck with the Qualani hunt...
just put the word out on the forums, as i'm sure there are a few people who bought her, and are too intimidated to paint such an incredibly finely detailed mini...
the Amazons are his most intimidating minis to me, with so much skin, and tiny details...

cheers
jah

Uhm - you do realize the pretty pirate girl is the bait, and she's working with the little goblin to ambush people ...

Also - inre: Gunpowder Mary - she comes with two bases. So you don't have to mount her on the cannon if you don't want to. Though admittedly - it looks like she's in a bit of a weird pose if she's not bent over the cannon. I'm trying to figure out some way to make her swappable. But it might be beyond my skill level.

Very nice bunch of miniatures.

Where do we find the rules for the new powers and stuff?

Ixchelcoatl has Benevolence, Malevolence, The wild. Not sure where to find those.

Rules like that (and other things on the cards that make no sense) will be revealed when the next rulebook comes out sometime this summer.

The Freebooter crew released a FAQ on stuff like this (plus an errata or two) but unfortunately seem to have forgot an English translation ...

You can find it here though - and the google translate version makes it clear enough.
