Okay this is the deal,
The monolith dimensional corridor allows us to teleport one un-enaged friendly Necron unit. To what extend are we counting units to be Necron?
We cannot refer to such units having Necron in their name (otherwise any infantry unit from the elites section could not be teleported since none of them has Necron in their name) so what is the limit?
I would say that a unit that comes from the Necron codex is a Necron unit, no matter what kind, even C'tan.
I'm willing to build a list around these guys and mono's so they are all up in your face starting from turn 2 onwards which would make them scary as hell and fun to play, I am however scared that it might not be legal, what's your opinion?

Any unit from the Necron codex is a "Necron unit". When GW does not want units to be affected they will specify (such as certain Tau abilities in the old codex which stated "Tau units (not including Kroots or Drones, but including Vespids led by a Strain Leader))."

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Sounds good already, must be my scaredness left from the last necron edition, then mono's could atcually only teleport Necron like units, but now it sounds more than legit, I' MA USE THIS STUFF! but wanted to be sure

Really too bad, all heavy's should be, they are so cumbersome and steady that one should be able to jump out of them and charge right? sigh*

Well in the last codex they had to have the Necron rule, which not every unit had.

Doesn't the Heavy rule also mean that it can fire all its weapons at full BS? So the monolith can now fire it's particle whip and the fluc arcs at BS4, even after DS-ing thanks to it counting as "always stationary" EDIT!!!! No it can't - i'm wrong. The whip is now ordnance and after shooting ordnance everything else has to user snap-shot. Damn Whip used to be Heavy.

Right - so its the ordnance rules that changed then. I though you used to be able to fire both the whip and the flux arcs..it's been a while since the old 'dex though.

Well, the ordnance rule got better this time as in the last rule book didn't allow anything else to be fired in a turn you fired ordnance.

They should update heavy's to actually fire anything at normal BS just because they are "driving fortresses" as they state in the rulebook.

If they do they will actually sell Monolith models. I know I would run at least one or two and paint my unpainted 4th Monolith.

Well since the context of the rule is "Moving and Shooting with a Vehicle" they should make a slight change to the sentence that a moving vehicle can only make snap shots if it fires Ordnance.
This would make Heavy a useful rule, solving problems for Monolith and Leman Russ.

I seemingly am not the only one who thinks its stupid and would be awesome, indeed they would sell their beloved mono's (I am still however looking at that new FW stuff that allows me to emplace a monolith, I'm REALLY interested in that fortification.

At least they FAQ'd it so you can use the corridor on the turn a monolith deep strikes in. I mean, that's SOMETHING, right? Heh.

Yep any unit that isn't a vehicle can use the corridor.
RutgerMan the Monolith isn't the best match to join with the Tomb Citadel as its weapons are only 24" so it would just barely reach past the edge of the Citadel, the best and really only option is the Sentry Pylon with the gauss exterminator, excellent range, skyfire, interceptor etc and cheaper points wise aswell.
