So I have been playing with my Blood Angels for almost a year now and for past few months I have been thinking to start another army.
I prefer a good CC-capability but it doesn't have to be the main thing of my army (tried orks with my friends army, didn't like them).
Whichever I will choose, I'll propably start with a codex and battleforce and first build a 500p list (I still need to work on my BA on the same time).
I would also like to have some diversity so not too similar with BA. And cheaper to play would be cool also
(And btw, where I play most guys play C:SM so a little personality will be a good plus.)

So here are the armies I have been thinking about:

Space Wolves
(Yeah, similar to BA I know.)

Tau
Yes, you do not have to tell me that these aren't good in CC. I just love how the new Tau looks.

Eldar
I think these guys look awesome and are a good contrast for all-around good marines.
Also, I've heard that they'll get a new codex soon, is that true? o.O

So what do you think about them? What are biggest weaknesses? What is the best core build for them? What to remember?
And last but not least, which one would you take? And are there other armies you would recommend to try?

Hold out for Eldar. I bet they are gonna be slick.

I'd say either wait for Eldar or forget those choices and go for IG. I think that IG are as powerful (or more-so) as any other army, plus they make an excellent ally for those Blood Angels while you build them up.

Good point! I forgot to add IG to this list but I have been thinking about that option as well. I've been thinking to make an infantry-based army with guard blobs (and maybe Oygryns?) And spice it with few tanks such as Hellhound for an example (large blast tanks aren't best choice to combine with my CC-BA )

I second waiting for Eldar. It's anticipated around July/August I believe (go check N&R).
With all the psychic nastiness they can currently bring, I bet it's going to be even more fun. Plus some of the models look great now. With some re-sculpts and new stuff I bet they'll look great.
