The idea just really popped into my head, has anyone ever done a tournament that spanned multiple systems? Sort of like an Iron-Man competition. It could even be something with a narrative campaign, though it wouldn't have to be. I would probably choose something in the same general field, aka all SciFi. You could come up with a campaign that used Infinity, 40k, and Dropzone Commander (just the first I thought of). I really like that idea because of scale, Infinity being used for small skirmishes and 40/dropzone for bigger battles / wars. Anyway, I just wanted to get some of your guys thoughts. It's just an idea- not sure if it has been done before. A great way to challange wargammers in a whole different way.

*I don't own armies from all these systems, but I would be willing to for a tourni or something.

It's a neat idea. Of course, it's tougher to get a good crowd up for it, because your pool of participants is limited to people who play all of the games you're using, not just one of them.

Fine idea!!

I think it would be great for a convention event.

The three levels of game play is a cool idea.

Interesting idea for a Tournament but would probably limit your attendance based on who actually plays all of the systems involved.

In a similar vein though you could have a tournament/campaign weekend which used Kill Team/Zone Moratlis, regular 40k, and then ended with an Apocalypse battle.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.
