Hi guys, I've been looking at starting a Iyanden Craftworld themed list, because I absolutely love the wraithguard and wraithlord models, and because I heard rumours that in the new codex the Eldar will get something called a wraith knight.
So of course I was wondering if it's worth looking at or if wraithguard just aren't that good.
What do you guys think?

Lets try to not make more chaos gods, ok guys?
I'd call this thread a trainwreck, but trainwrecks are legitimately horrifying to watch. This is hilarious.

Really depends on the new rules. But that's three weeks out. As it stands Wraithguard are too short ranged and Wraithlords don't justify a whole slot.

New codex is 3 weeks out and it looks like wraithguard are getting some love.

Words of advice:

Rule of Cool is the #1 rule.

A new Codex: Eldar is being released in a month so the current information on Wraith-units is of questionable over the long term.

My Opinion:

I find my wraith-unit army to be rewarding to play, easy to make use of (only in terms of low model count), and generally successful against opponents.

I tabled my Chaos Daemons opponent last game without losing more than 28% of my total army. I also held three objectives worth 3 VPs each & got two of the bonus objectives. It was a glorious win for the Lost Souls Expedition Force of Craftworld Alaitoc.

"The objective of the game is to win. The purpose of the game is to have fun. The two should not be confused."

Or you can just claim it's all bad luck and you're really the best player in the world if not for those dice and/or cards.

Sweet I'll wait for the new codex then and see how things pan out.

warpspider89 may I just ask, what does your wraithguard list look like?
