New to forum but certainly not new to 40k, although I've been on hiatus since the beginning of 5th

I started at the tail end of 3rd and have played Space Marines, Daemonhunters, Chaos, and Tyranids. I went through a change of residence a while back and although I managed to keep all my models, I've lost all my books and terrain :(

I scraped together the funds and got Dark Vengeance more or less for the rules (the models didn't hurt) but I am without a single codex, I'm trying to get back into 40k with little financial investment so I'd like to play with my current models or convert them into something else.

I have an excessive amount of Space Marine ~ 12,000 points
Large amount of nids ~ 5-6,000 points
Daemonhunters / grey knights 2,000 points (seriously though that's like 12 guys)
Tiny amount of chaos mainly custom 500ish points
and the Dark Vengeance box

I'm thinking of converting to some form of Marine variant (SW, BA, CSM, etc) or going the Bug route but I'm unsure if mass genestealers and carifexs is competitive

Any advice on which codex I should track down
