I have been toying with the idea of dusting off my unopened blood bowl game and starting playing a few games.

I really like the idea of starting with high elves, I am going to use a box of white lions to convert my team.

Below is the roster I am looking to use:

Korhil's Steel Lions

6 Linemen
1 Thrower
2 Catchers
2 Blitzers
2 Rerolls
Total 990

Is this good for starting with or should I change something?

Thanks for looking and any help.

Only suggestion I would make is adding an apothacary to start. High elves are agile and fast, but their ST is only 3 and their AV isn't that great. Dispose of one of the linemen, and spend 50k on the Apothacary. That will leave you with 30k extra (including the 10k you already didn't spend) to add some fan factor, cheerleaders or an assistant coach, perhaps 1 of each. Other teams with more expensive options will likely ignore these 3 areas and even having a 1 for each can give you a bit of an advantage when you start up the league.

Unfortunately to get 3 RRs to start you need to gut your starting lineup

I'm more a fan of getting apoc ASAP with gold and getting leader on a thrower for the 3rd RR.

Like your list, don't be afraid to use a staggered grinding offence where your opponent has to move into your tackle zones then you move in support and block them off. Even dorfs will eventually take a cas and if you have numbers late in the game your opponent will struggle, especially if those lion warriors are still active. S3 movement 8 is close to godliness.
