So after a good 2 years of not playing any 40k at all, save I think one game on a too-small table. I'm finally getting back into it now that my favorite army finally got an update. But since money is tight, and Warhammer is stupid expensive, I am buying and building/painting them one box at a time. This is what I have so far.

Note: I'm fully aware I'm a terrible painter and I need to go back and do touch ups anyways, this is just the completed phase 1.

Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

Riptide is amazing, the gray looks very smooth, so does the gold!

Thanks! I actually rather like how the paint turned out on the Riptide. Firewarriors will be up next but not for another week and a half or so unfortunately.

Oh yeah, terrible painter, because it's so easy to have such a clean paint job of reds and whites

Looking great so far, keep it up! Now it's on to the little details (or are you planning to leave them like that?)

I'm probably not going to do much more with them in the short term. Honestly I'll be happy just to have a fully painted army for once. My Templars are fully painted but that's because they were traded to me from a buddy of mine
