Yeah I can see how it has lost a bit of its charm. Being a vampire counts player, I've found things have gotten pretty expensive as well so haven't really looked at getting many of the newer models. But I guess being a predominantly 40k player it hasn't been so bad. I would also recommend infinity, only done about half a dozen games myself so far but it seems cool.
Yeah, I was mostly into Fantasy (3,500pt Tomb Kings army), but I have to stop playing I can't afford to buy the number of models they expect from us now and I won't encourage the way they're treating the players. I've got a little Eldar army that I'll finish and then I reckon that'll probably be it for
40k and Fantasy for me. I like the look of Infinity models and the backhistory of some of the armies, so I'll definitely be giving that a go.

That sounds great, I'd be keen but I'm down in the Waikato. We used to have a friday night games club here but that ended a couple of years ago. Now me and a friend are trying to start a new one at the uni (most people so far seem really into
RPG's which is cool, but we're having trouble finding tabletop wargammers).
